For months, we had been planning a family trip to Boracay with the kids. We had already secured our transportation and accommodations, and I was especially excited about arranging a family photoshoot at some of the island’s scenic spots—I even created a mood board for our coordinated outfits. Unfortunately, we cancelled the trip due to a series of unfortunate events that happened days before our scheduled departure. There were just so many signs not to go so we finally decided to just stay at home–Buhbye ₱30k+! 😥 My husband and I just looked on the brighter side of things and carried on. After recovering for a week, things were looking up so we went to the mall for some family time, wearing the outfits that were supposed to be for the family photoshoot. We ended the night having dinner at Kuya J Restaurant because I was craving some kare-kare and crispy pata.
All of us were in high spirits, and the kids even ate more than usual. Talagang bumawi din sa pagkain dahil laking pinayat after nila magkasakit. Overall, my husband and I were simply happy to spend quality time together, while the kids enjoyed riding the mini train, indulging in ice cream and pizza, and strolling around the mall—even if just for a few hours. We went home with full tummies and hearts overflowing with joy. Thankful for Megan (our e-trike) that brought us safely to the mall and back home (walang available na Grab Car to take us to a mall a bit farther from home sana eh haha). Anyway, we’re grateful to you, Lord, 🙏🏻 for a meaningful and much needed family day. 🥰
